Heart Health Community Outreach Program

Barnet Community Hall

26 September 2026 | 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Scale of The Problem

•

Heart disease is the leading cause of death and disability in Barnet

•

With a population of 395,000-400,000 residents, an estimated 650-800 people die from heart disease each year, equating to 54–67 deaths per month and two deaths every day

•

A large proportion of GP workload is from residents with heart diseases, creating huge demand and pressure on the NHS services

•

Residents living in deprived and underserved communities are disproportionately impacted, increasing health inequality
